NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON NATIONAL AGENDA ON SOME PROBLEMS & SOLUTIONS

( FELICITATION TO DR. P. M. BHARGAVA )

On 12,13 and 14 December,2008

at Indian Institute of Chemical Technology,Hyderabad

The NCSC is organising a National Conference on National Agenda - Problems and Solutions, in December 2008, in honor of Dr. P.M. Bhargava, a nationally and internationally known scientist, creative writer, rational thinker, strategic institution builder and an astute science administrator. He is widely regarded as the architect of modern biology and biotechnology in India. Incidentally, Dr. Bhargava completed 80 years this year. The conference, which is open to professionals from the fields of agriculture, medicine, and Science Communications, will be held between 12-14 December 2008 in the Auditorium of the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Uppal Road, Tarnaka, Hyderabad- 500007.

In addition to highlighting the significant contributions of Dr. P.M. Bhargava, the National Conference on Problems and solutions will have a felicitation function followed by three sessions that will focus on the following topics and a special session on New Biology & Society Agriculture, Health and Scientific Temper. About 250 Science Communicators, Researchers, Educationists and Students from India, will attend this National Conference
